At around 22:00 on the evening of November 28, 2024, a thick smoke and fire suddenly broke out in Room 1103, Building 153, Greenland Century Home Community, Kunshan. After receiving the alarm from the monitoring room, Wei Mengshen, the night shift foreman, rushed to the scene immediately and called the patrol guards to bring fire extinguishers for support. At the same time, the fire emergency plan was activated.
Lei Mingwen and Wang Yubin from the patrol team quickly rushed into the scene with fire extinguishers. To prevent the fire from spreading, the three of them worked together to connect the fire hoses. After five minutes of intense firefighting, the open flames were successfully controlled and extinguished. During this period, Chen Xueyong, a patrol team member, was responsible for clearing the fire lane to guide the fire engines to drive in smoothly.
Subsequently, the firefighters arrived at the scene. As required, the security guards withdrew in an orderly manner.
Fortunately, this fire did not cause any property damage or personal injuries. The homeowners were extremely grateful for the heroic performance of the property staff of Jiangsu Jiucheng Security Company and specially presented them with a silk banner. Preliminary investigations suggest that the fire was likely caused by a tenant smoking. In the follow-up, a strict inspection will be carried out on whether the landlord of the tenant at fault has any illegal leasing practices, whether the fire-fighting equipment is fully equipped, and whether a fire safety agreement has been signed with the tenant.
